NOOR is an accountless, local-first Islamic utility for prayer times, Quran reading, Qibla, Duas, and Tasbih. Your religious content activity, location choice, calculation settings, reminder preferences, compass readings, personal counters, favorites, and history remain on your device.

1. Scope

This policy explains how the NOOR mobile application handles information. NOOR is a general-audience prayer-time utility and is not directed to children.

2. Information NOOR uses

Depending on the features you choose, NOOR may process:

a city selected by you;
your device location when you choose automatic location;
time zone and prayer-calculation preferences; and
prayer reminder, sound, and manual-offset choices; and
foreground compass and heading readings while you use the Qibla screen;
Quran reading progress, bookmarks, downloaded content, Dua activity, and saved items;
personal Tasbih labels and notes, favorites, active progress, preferences, and session history;
automatically collected app usage and diagnostic information described below.

3. How location is handled

When you choose automatic location, NOOR requests device location to identify an appropriate city, time zone, prayer schedule, and true-north Qibla bearing. You may instead choose a city manually. The Qibla screen may use a foreground location fix and your device’s compass sensor to calculate live direction. Location and compass readings are processed on the device and are not sent to Wisecodex.

4. Local storage

Your selected location, settings, reminder preferences, Quran activity, saved Duas, personal Tasbih counters, active progress, favorites, and history are stored locally on your device. NOOR does not require an account and does not upload this content to a Wisecodex server.

5. Notifications

If you enable prayer reminders, your operating system stores scheduled notification information on the device. Notification and exact-alarm access remain under your control through NOOR and your device settings.

6. Analytics, crash reporting, advertising, and tracking

NOOR uses Google Firebase Analytics to collect automatically generated app-usage events and technical information such as app version, device and operating-system characteristics, general interaction information, and an app-instance identifier. NOOR does not configure custom Analytics events for your location, prayer activity, Quran reading, Duas, Tasbih, or other religious activity.

NOOR uses Firebase Crashlytics to receive crash reports and diagnostics, which may include stack traces, app and device state, operating-system details, and installation identifiers. This information helps Wisecodex understand app reliability and fix failures.

NOOR does not include advertising SDKs. Wisecodex does not sell your information or use Firebase data for cross-app advertising tracking.

7. Third-party services

Google processes Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics data on behalf of Wisecodex under Google’s Firebase terms and privacy safeguards. Your operating system, app store, device manufacturer, or backup provider may separately process technical or account information under its own policies.

8. Retention and deletion

Local information remains until you change or delete it in NOOR, clear the app’s storage, or uninstall NOOR. Tasbih history can be cleared in the app. Firebase retains Analytics and Crashlytics information according to the retention settings and policies for those services; Crashlytics crash reports and associated identifiers are generally retained for 90 days before deletion begins. Because NOOR has no user account, Wisecodex cannot connect a deletion request to a specific in-app profile.

9. Security

NOOR relies on platform-provided local storage and permission controls. No device or storage method can guarantee absolute security, so protect your device with a passcode and current operating-system updates.

10. Children

NOOR is not specifically designed for or directed to children under 13. Wisecodex does not knowingly use NOOR to collect personal information from children.

11. Changes

Wisecodex may update this policy when NOOR’s features, providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date will be updated before revised practices are released.
